1. OFFSHORE INSTALLATION MANAGER (OIM)

BASIC FUNCTION
• Reports to the Rig Manager Performance.
• Manage the manpower and resources of the rig to achieve optimum performance in a safe efficient and productive manner.
• Promote and ensure all Company Policies and Procedures are communicated and understood by personnel on the rig.
• Supervise the Senior Toolpusher/Toolpusher, Master/Barge Supervisor, and Maintenance Supervisor/Chief Engineer.
PREREQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS
• Engineering degree
• 10 Years experience in drilling and offshore operations.
Duties and responsibilities include:
• Manage the planning and efficient execution of the drilling program.
• Plan operations with the Marine department as regards rig moves, mooring, station keeping and stability.
• Develop and monitor a consolidated rig’s annual maintenance budget.

POSITION: RIG SUPERVISOR TRAINEES (ART)
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO:
• Follow an Accelerated Rig Training (ART) program for a minimum period of30 to 36 months that is designed to develop trainees to become first level supervisors on offshore drilling rigs.
• Work offshore in any part of the world during the various phases of the training.
2. PREREQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of a University Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical/Electronics, Civil, Marine or Petroleum), Purchasing and Business Administration.
• Second Class honours degree/equivalent -Not be older than 28 years old.
• Must have completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
• Good computer skills.
REQUIREMENTS
• Valid relevant trade/marine licenses
• Valid medical examination and vaccination certificate.
• Good communication skills relevant to the position.
• Commitment and disposition to train and develop subordinates in work team.

Brief description:
The objective of the Scholarship and Fellowship Programs is to help create an international community of highly-trained professionals working in the field of economic and social development. The community will actively participate in the capacity building efforts in the developing countries.
Host Institution(s):
Applicants are encouraged to apply to one of the Preferred Universities which, other things equal, will have priority in the scholarship award.
Program of study:
Eligible applicants should propose a program of study related to development at the master’s level, in fields such as economics, health, education, agriculture, environment, natural resource management, or other development‑related subject.
The proposed program of study should start during the academic year 2010/2011 for a maximum duration of two years. The JJ/WBGSP does not support applicants who are already enrolled (i.e., taking classes) in graduate degree programs.
Applicants should submit evidence of current unconditional admission to at least one development-related university master’s degree program and are encouraged to submit application to a second such program. Applicants are encouraged to apply to one of the Preferred Universities which, other things equal, will have priority in the scholarship award.
The Program does not support studies in the applicant’s home country.
The Program does not support applicants for MBA, MDs, M.Phil. or Ph.D. degrees.
The Program does not support legal studies such as J.D., L.L.M. or S.J.D. except for L.L.M.’s related to human rights, environment, or good governance.
The scholarship program does not sponsor undergraduate studies, distance learning programs, short-term training, conferences, seminars, thesis writing, research projects, and fields of studies not related to development. All these requests will not be considered.
The Program does not support certain other fields of study.
